I started PeriodPower Pantry in 2019…

After personally being in need of menstrual products. My home flooded for the second time in two years, and although our community helped us by providing their time and items to help rebuild, one product that was needed was menstrual and hygiene products. I soon found out that not only did disaster victims needed these products but school girls, women’s shelters, and prisons are in need of these products.

Promoting awareness of period poverty and providing period packs became my mission.

At PeriodPower Pantry, we collected donated menstrual products (tampons and pads) as well as hygiene products (body wipes, deodorant, hand sanitizer) that ladies need during their period. We assemble these packs and add a motivational quote to help girls and females know that they are not alone and they are powerful women in charge of their lives!

We have just started holding PeriodPower Pantry Parties where YOU get to be hostess! We ask our hostesses to invite their best gal pals to learn a little bit about period poverty and assemble period packs. Each guest will bring one or more period pack needed supplies AND guests get to write their favorite motivation quote for the recipients of the packs. And don’t forget to bring the wine!
