A Wedding at Hochzeit Hall

Last weekend my bonus-daughter was married in Spring, Texas.  The beautiful bride and her handsome groom were married at a gorgeous venue in Spring called Hochzeit Hall. This gorgeous German inspired wedding and event center is nestled off the road before you enter Old Town Spring.

One of the best things about Texas is its love for restoring their historical parts of towns and making them into hustling and buzzing tourist-friendly must-do’s.  My husband and I walked from Preservation Park to the Wunsche Brothers restaurant for the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.  I loved the feel of this old town.  Shops, restaurants, and bars contribute to the character of this part of Spring.  The one thing that caught my eye was the Amish Home Furnishings Store.  I am from the York/Lancaster area of Pennsylvania and am very familiar with the Amish as well as their strong and sturdy furniture.  I will have to make it back to Old Town Spring to just spend the weekend shopping at this store.  Who doesn’t love Amish craftsmanship?

If you get a chance and want a fun weekend getaway, check out Old Town Spring, Texas.  So, let’s talk weddings!  The Hochzeit Hall is a gorgeous place to get married.  I told my husband I wanted to get married again at this hall.  The front of the building is breath-taking.  As you walk through the front doors, you get a sense that the owners of the facility to great care in to making sure this venue is the best venue for a wedding.

My daughter was married in the pavilion behind the reception hall.  Not gonna lie in June, being outdoors is hot and humid particularly at 5pm.  Not to worry though, the pavilion had ceiling fans to help cool the evening warmth.  The bride and groom graciously had handheld fans made for their wedding for those who needed a bit more air.

The reception was exquisite!  My daughter and her wedding planner did a wonderful job in planning the colors, the flowers, and place settings…everything.  I have seen a variety of styles and colors at the venue before and after her wedding and all of what I saw was impeccable.  If you are a bride-to-be, definitely check out this venue.

I can not wait to get back to Spring.  If you spend time there, let me know what were the best things enjoyed while there!
