Cell Phones Down

I honestly can not live without my cell phone. Well, I probably can. I mean, I did it for the first half of my life. To us now, it may seem a little foreign to disconnect from the cell phone… but it is doable.

I encourage you to practice putting your cell phone. When you’re at home with your spouse, your kids, your parents. Reconnect with them. Find out what’s going on in their lives. Share what has been going on in your life. Make most of those moments you have with friends and family.

Also, there are times in business that you must put down your phone. If you are trying to close a major deal over dinner or drinks, and you spend most of your time on your phone…trust me… the deal isn’t happening. If you must take a call or a text, excuse your self. You may feel so inclined to that you are waiting for a call a text.

Cell phones down doesn’t mean that everything around you will go down. A little disconnection will do your body, mind, and your relationships, whether personal or business, some good.
